I have had a lump on my achilles since late last year. I didn't see my Dr due to covid wait times etc & went to a podiatrist a month or so after I first saw it. They said I need to improve my hip/ankle strength and flexibility & gave me some exercises to do.
I was running 5km twice a wk at the time.
I haven't run much recently because I've now developed a lump on my other achilles. I'm worried that I'm causing long term damage.
I wake up every morning and struggle to walk normally until my muscles have warmed up. My legs ache at various times during the day too. (I'm 45)
Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, have ypu managed to reduce your lumps?
