Trip to London

We are wanting to go to London and stay over one night, probably a Saturday night, take the kids for a look around, eat, go to Harrods, Covent Garden etc. I've only ever been once and a friend knew her way around pretty well.

Where's the best place / area to stay so we can get around easily? We will be driving in... and any tips for enjoying a day or two?

Don’t drive all the way in… which direction will you be coming from? If we study park at Westfield it’s only £15 per 24 hours and 10 mins to central London on central line.

I’d then look for a premier inn somewhere near one of the key things you want to do.

That should say if coming from the west re Westfield Shepherd’s Bush parking.
