3rd jab then. Same, yesterday PM. Mine bled a lot first two hours. AZ x 2 + Pfizer. But is OK today. Rough afternoon and evening though. Irritable to the point of wanting to lash out, so hid away.

No bruising or redness for you?

OP posts:
Clun · 13/11/2021 14:16

No, never got that.

MrsFin · 13/11/2021 14:16

Do you feel ok otherwise?

Tiredmum100 · 13/11/2021 14:22

Yes looks normal. My 1st pfizer injection was really bad. Never had redness or soreness like it. Second two still red but better.

Opal8 · 13/11/2021 14:41

Feel OK other than arm really sore

Have you tried paracetamol? That might help

Opal8 · 13/11/2021 15:20

Yes I've taken some thank you

I had zero symptoms from my first Pfizer vaccine but with the second one, the injection site was hard, painful and hot for a week. My brother said the same about his.

I wouldn’t be surprised if mine looked like yours after the third, the side effects seem to be cumulative.

AdditionalCharacter · 13/11/2021 16:32

I had Pfizer for all three vaccines. The whole top of my arm was red like yours and very stiff, for a week or so afterwards. Doctor suggested paracetamol and an antihistamine.

StandardPoodle · 13/11/2021 16:58

I had Pfizer for my booster - little redness but it was quite sore for a couple of days.

yikesanotherbooboo · 13/11/2021 17:21

A bit of bruising and some inflammation is not usual but nothing to worry about. If the redness spreads and particularly if your arm gets very hot, tender and swollen as well discuss with a Doctor.

Opal8 · 13/11/2021 17:44

Thanks I'll keep an eye on the redness

My booster was Pfizer and it's tender but there's nothing to see. Definitely keep an eye on it.

TravisFountain · 13/11/2021 18:43

I had a little bit of bleeding and a pretty impressive bruise for two weeks - I assumed the needle must have hit a small blood vessel. It happens sometimes. I bruise easily anyway.

Newhorizon21 · 13/11/2021 19:58

It's a normal reaction, the red area may become itchy, tender & a lot bigger. Take paracetamol and/or ibuprofen. If your arm swells or you feel unwell, e.g. fever, vomiting, then go to an ED

Thanks all x
