Fruit cake batter

Making 3 fruit cakes today and only after I'd made the batter did I realise the oven isn't working!

Can't get it fixed until Monday- do you think the cake batter would be okay in the fridge until then. I have no room in freezer so freezing not an option.

I would do it. But it would also cook in a slow cooker or steam it in a pot of water.

I think it will be OK because if its a Christmas cake it's not had any rising agent in it, so it won't collapse unlike a sponge.
