I'm off to a massive antique fair in Bath showgrounds. On the hunt for an antique frame.

DH has gone away for 3 days with the car, so I plan on the utmost depravity and debauchery while he's gone - walking the dog, washing the bedding and doing my nails for as long as I want whilst listening to audiobooks. Bliss.

I haven't got off to a very good start though - washing machine is behaving very oddly, and now I've done 4 miles with le poochio I feel strangely knackered so at the moment I'm flopped on the sofa with my phone to recover. Doesn't normally make me tired?

mdh2020 · 13/11/2021 09:23

I’m taking DH to outpatients for treatment, I’ve done it every morning for a week and it looks like I will be doing it next week. I intend to spend the rest of day sitting on my bed reading a book and drinking gin.

FinallyMrsE · 13/11/2021 09:25

I’m going out for bottomless cocktails and lunch, Its unlikely I’ll be able to stay awake for strictly tonight, but who knows, today maybe the day I become the responsible 40something I always threaten to become.

Looking after DH who has that horrible Fauxvid bug going around. I need to go and pick up the shopping in a minute, walk DDog and get started on Laundry Mountain. Rock and roll.

jazzupyourchuff · 13/11/2021 09:30

Baking, park, cake with parents. I used to be rock and roll once!

devildeepbluesea · 13/11/2021 09:31

@FinallyMrsE well jel of your day. I'm 48 and have definitely not yet become responsible. Next Sat I'm off to the rugby and an all dayer!

unluckyinlife · 13/11/2021 09:32

I had my booster vaccine yesterday and ache head to toe! DH is currently out at swimming with DS4 and i am at home with DD2. Were currently on the sofa under some blankets while she watches some cocomelon and I sit on mumsnet.

When DH comes home and DD can play with DS, I will be doing the laundry and having a hot bath while reading some of my book! x

MuddlingThroughLife · 13/11/2021 09:34

I'm sitting in a car with my learner daughter so she can drive herself to work later and bringing her car back home. Then I plan to do nothing, watch TV and start my new Christmas 5D painting.

LucentBlade · 13/11/2021 09:35

Finishing sorting through my wardrobe, DH did his yesterday and we also went through both sets of the chest of drawers and will have two black bin bags for the charity shop.

Going for a walk, live about 15 min walk from open fields and a small forest, choosing blinds, the samples came this morning, watching netflix, going on my games console. DS GF is arriving late afternoon. They are apparently making cocktails this evening and we can sample them if we like.

languagelover96 · 13/11/2021 09:35

Second top up injection today. My first was done six months ago but I kept delaying the second one until now.

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 13/11/2021 09:35

I'd much rather be doing what @Shehasadiamondinthesky is doing.

I have a family wedding to attend today but we're all ill in our household. Awful colds but we're expected to attend anyway. Can't wait for it to be over.

SpottyStripyDuvet · 13/11/2021 09:36

It is DS's party day. There will be 6 5 and 6 year olds here this afternoon. What was I thinking?

DH has gone into cleaning mode - nothing is safe from his duster - he has even eschewed a run this morning to clean so beginning to think actual DH has been kidnapped by aliens as this is not usual.

languagelover96 · 13/11/2021 09:36

have a nice time
badlydrawnbear · 13/11/2021 09:48

I have absolutely no idea. We are on our 8th weekend since DH died. I feel like I haven't slept at all, DC1 said she doesn't feel well, none of us are dressed, I have half emptied the dishwasher and that is it, DC2 is watching screeching youtubers on the tv, I have absolutely no idea how to fill the day even though I had practice at this before he died as he would often go off and do his hobbies at the weekend if I wasn't at work.
I will go and wash my hair and get dressed and try and start the day. DC2 has to make a model out of recycling for homework so we can get on with that, maybe try and bribe them out of the house by promising a trip to costa after a walk round the park.

fitflopqueen · 13/11/2021 09:52

Food shop
Dog walk
See FIL for coffee
Make dessert using creme pattiserie as on master chef.
Dinner with parents
Strictly TV

KurtWilde · 13/11/2021 10:08

Dogs have been out for a run, it's a bright November day and quite mild! I've got a hospital appointment later for a procedure that means I'm not allowed to eat or drink anything from midnight last night. I'm dying for a coffee. So after my appointment I'll be sitting in a coffee shop with a very large cappuccino and something carby. Then picking DC up from my mums and heading home to make Mexican for dinner.

AutumnAnn · 13/11/2021 10:12

Bit of a lazy day here, it's freezing and miserable outside so we're having a cosy day in, my 3 year old is watching paw patrol, newborn is doing tummy time and I'm planning for next month

dancingbroccoli · 13/11/2021 10:13

I'm working until 2 and then going to collect a wardrobe for DD1 nursery. Very excited to spend the afternoon sorting that out! 🤣

Lulu1919 · 13/11/2021 10:14

I had a funny off day yesterday so left work after a couple hours then slept on and off
Feeling a bit brighter today but planning a pj and sofa day
If ok tomorrow maybe a short walk by the sea

ApplePippa · 13/11/2021 10:22

A very lazy day here today. DH was away overnight last night, and not back yet. DS and I have just had bacon for breakfast - he is now doing something or other in his room, while I'm lounging on the sofa with a coffee.

Will drag DS out for a walk later, and then brace myself for homework drama (DS is autistic and dyslexic, and HATES homework).

This evening, when DH is back, we are having a games night at DS's request.

Thatsplentyjack · 13/11/2021 10:24

We are going on holiday on Monday so today I'm away to get some last bits for going so i can pack everything tonight, and I'm taking the car for a valet because its absolutely bogging. Looking forward to going but dp was a right dick this morning as he always is before we are going away. Dont know why, he does nothing to organise everyone. Just throws his shig in the car the night before and that's him.

Thatsplentyjack · 13/11/2021 10:24

Shit in the car, nit shit

Daisy829 · 13/11/2021 10:28

Covid booster, dropping kids at my brothers for a sleep over then out for early tea with DH. Hoping to be back for strictly!

MrBeagles · 13/11/2021 10:33

Thinking of you #badlydrawnbear you are up! That is sometimes enough.
Thanks

I'm doing a vaccination shift this afternoon so having a good laze until then with DS2. Also buffering around on my phone and spending money online. Bigger DS is at football and will want running to a party later.

Big glass of wine later and hope someone has thought to make me dinner.
