Care package ideas for a new mum with PND

My lovely DN had her first baby a few weeks back and has now revealed she has PND. We are at opposite ends of the country and she has little physical support and is feeling isolated. I will try and get to see her ASAP but in the meantime I would like to send a care package but am short on ideas Confused

Any suggestions for what I could include?

Can you get decent ready meals like cook delivered for her. Not vouchers as it's energy to choose. Or do an online shop with things like microwave rice so she can at quickly and hopefully well.

Does she like coffee? A Costa card or equivalent to a nice one very near her house?

Chocolate, best quality shower stuff you can afford.

With my friend it was more about being there. As you are far away can you send her something in the post once a week? A nice card, a treat etc so she gets little regular boosts but you also aren't putting her under any pressure to respond.

Ah that's really thoughtful. When I was ill with PND, my friend wrote me postcards every few weeks. Just to know that I had contact with the 'normal' world and that I was being thought of was really touching. In fact, everything my friends and family did was amazing, to remind me of my old self. Letters, old photos, anything

Thank you for the suggestions. I love the idea of little postcards and notes. I'm going to order her a couple of things from some small businesses - chocolate, coffee etc. Most of all as you've said I just need to let her know that I am here for her.
