5 yr old breathing- bronchiolitis?

5 year old quick breathing with cough and fever, I'm thinking bronchiolitis. Hes had this before when he was little. During week I'd take him to medical centre where once he was given oxygen. As its Saturday I'm wondering about my options,? I'll keep an eye on breathing but hes a happy wheeze and just preempting if he gets worse. Just 111? Is a &e the only option if he needs a bot of oxygen? Havent got an oximeter either...

My ds had bronchiolitis several times and I think its always worth a trip down to hospital to check how they are doing. At 5 has an inhaler not been discussed yet? They gave my ds a couple by then but it might have been different circumstances.
Hope your ds is OK op

If he’s comfortable I’d be more inclined to try 111.

Same happened to my 6 year old a few weeks ago. We called 111 who made an appointment to see a doctor at a minor injuries unit and they gave him steroids and an inhaler.

My 1 year old recently had it and was given an inhaler, her breathing sounded like a rattle

DS 1yr old had this a few weeks ago, I phoned 111 and they told me to take him to a&e.
So I think phoning 111 is probably the best thing to do.
