I’ve put some Pampas Grass in my front room window. How long until the swingers start knocking?

I don’t usually succumb to trends. I’ve always liked Pampas Grass but the swinging link put me off.

Now I’ve decided that I want to embrace it’s fluffy loveliness. I kept seeing it on Pinterest and marvelling at the prettiness of it.

But is it still a swingers thing? I’m not in the loop. Google suggests pineapples are now where it’s at.

So what do we think? I’m too tired to swing. I also have work in the morning.

How likely is it they’ll come knocking?

I don't know if Friday was the best day to start this new lifestyle. If they turn up tonight it's probably going to be pretty full on.

I’m in bed eating Krave from the box. I’m not feeling very sexy.

I suppose they could do it next to me if the cats move.

There’s probably some other horticultural code that indicates your unwillingness to engage in hanky panky with randoms jingling their car keys — maybe plant a cotoneaster clipped into an x-shape in front?

Maybe you've just signalled your readiness in the same way that a pumpkin and decorations by the door encourages children at Halloween. It would certainly liven up my Friday night but like you can't be bothered with those shenanigans. I've got a trio olive bloomer to finish with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc while I try to get warm and watch the Tower on catch up!
