Ways to keep DD warm from waist down!

DD7 is having both legs put into plaster casts in a couple of weeks, probably for 6 weeks. I'm looking for ways to keep her warm! She already has an Oodie, I'm more worried about her legs, she's not going to be able to wear trousers/tights or even socks Sad. Any brilliant suggestions please?

Just get adults sized socks and put them over. I have a lot of children at work with casting and that's what their parents always do.

Heated throw? If she’s at home sitting a lot.

Could you get an oversized pair of tracksuit bottoms (the ones in sweatshirt material) and sew the feet closed so they're like a massive pair of loose tights?

It won't be pretty but it might do the job.

wearable sleeping bags - some have legs, if she's in wheel chair, it will fit over casts and she can always unzip the top half and leave it just on the bottoms.

Drop crotch harem pants??
If you get a couple of sizes up.....

I wore baggy harem pants and big socks over my cast and trainer socks underneath to keep my toes warm( they stretch and fit on really well.)

Those fluffy slipper socks are really warm!
