Hello

We are going to legoland this weekend, staying in the castle hotel. Is the pool at the original hotel? Does anyone know if towels are provided?

Any other legoland tips much appreciated

Thankyou

You will have a great time, stayed at hotel once, and had many lovely trips to Legoland. No idea about towels though, we didn’t use the pool, give them a call. Enjoy.

Towels are provided in the hotel but not the pool. Have an amazing time

In terms of tips:
Download the app to get queue and show times
The hotel lets you into the park before 10 so get straight to the ride that normally has queues you want to go on most. The ride won't open until 10 but you'll be quickly on. I'd recommend starting at flight of the sky lion, then aiming for ninjago or the dragon, also recommend laser quest and the aquarium one. The sky rider seems to open later. The augmented reality around mythical is pretty cool too
If it gets busy use the shows as fillers.
There's plenty of places to eat but they are quite pricey

I'm pretty sure there are several threads going back years about this. Have a search. Best tips from me: if you're staying in hotel, get there EARLY and be ready to enter park from hotel entrance. Go straight to City area and do driving school, boats, submarine etc or whatever if your favourite area, before the crowds descend at the public entrance. TAKE SNACKS, DRINKS ABD PICNIC. Food is dreadful and overpriced. Pirate show is something like midday and 2pm (do check, might have changed). Get there at least 30 mins before and eat picnic while you wait. Q-bot is useful if you can afford it. Write your phone number on your DC arms (or get a wrist band from visitor services).

Yes the pool's at the original hotel and they will give you towels if you ask (we took our own though)

Also the one time we stayed at hotel the pool was full and we couldn't use it. Don't pin your hopes on having a swim.

You book your slot now so you'll be fine getting in.

I don't think the theme park is open this weekend anyway OP

NB It might be open for holiday guests in which case it'll be quiet.

I don't think Legoland is open this weekend either OP - I'd double check your tickets/booking!

We were at the legoland hotel last weekend. Not stayed at the Castle Hotel yet though.
Book your swimming slot in advance. It was super quiet when we went.
They offered towels although we had our own. Lockers are free.
The evening entertainment was great fun. Don't know how the staff had the energy. Must have been about 2hrs long.
Enjoy!
