What is the purpose of the Tardis?

I keep thinking it is Nights at The Circus by Angela Carter but its not

Tardis is very literal- think what it is?
Gallery- I had to do some googling, look at the picture that the old man is looking at.

He’s always on tv, especially TODAY I’m stuck on toyshop and paradise

Toy shop - literally say what you see in the window

Look at the items in the toy shop window to get the title, from left to right.

I got the bookshop- look at the club sign for anyone struggling!
Paradise - I really struggled with it. The author shares a name with a fairly popular comedian, if that helps!
Toyshop- look at whats displayed in the window.
Just the museum one for me now... I'm determined to finish tonight!

Done! I had to search twitter and find the actual NBT account and retweets for the final one. This one was tough- have only read one of the books!

How do they look, they aren't happy. Now think in French. The bike is a red herring.
