No, just not getting the stop sign. It looks like it would be a better clue for another book I guessed at.

Man with the balloon turns out to be what I tried hours ago but without the "the" at the beginning - could at least have given me an "almost there" at the time....

Never heard of the Paradise book before - hint for anyone who needs it - think of a classic book with a single word title that means paradise. Then add a synonym for boulevard.

The book is by a Nigerian author. That might be an easier path to go down.
