Water affecting electrics...

So had a plumber out today for a leak from the bathroom. In the repair, there was a gush of water thats wet an electrical socket downstairs which has tripped the fuse for all the downstairs sockets.

Plumber assured me it'll dry out, so im not too concerned, but how long should this take realistically?

I had planned to blast the heating on, but it appears that the upstairs boiler may be wired into the downstairs circuit...? As everything upstairs is on apart from the boiler.

Does it sound possible that the boiler is being affected by the downstairs sockets tripping? Thats the only fuse thats off atm.
