Took my daughter for eye test yesterday. Bit overdue because of COVID but she's been getting headaches so assumed she had shit eyes like me and needed glasses.
But was instead told she has raised optic nerves in both eyes and has been referred to the eye hospital to be seen within the next week.
I have googled it and it's all horrific.
Please, there must be some causes for this that aren't all too terrifying to consider. Please tell me what they are as I'm absolutely shutting myself and I can't stop crying.
She is 16 if that makes any difference.
