Private hysterectomy Scotland

Can anyone advise or share their experience?
I’m waiting for a hysterectomy on NHS. severe post menopausal bleeding due to fibroids. Have had all investigation MRI etc.
The wait is likely to be several months and I really can’t tolerate that any more! Bleeding almost constant and meds aren’t working.
So far I think there’s Ross Hall and Murrayfield but I’ve no idea how to navigate all this.
Has anyone had a hysterectomy privately in Scotland who could advise me? It’ll have to be abdominal as well!
Thank you

Not hysterectomy but family member had other major surgery at Ross Hall. Paid cash. All so much easier than NHS. Phone and they'll let you know whether you need a GP letter or not. You have an initial appointment with the consultant, book the date you want, pay, turn up,get the op. You're dealt with by senior doctors who are experts. Own room with en suite. Immaculately clean. Good food. Choose from menu. Ample parking. we had consultant appointments in the evenings so easy to fit round work. They'll tell you how much it will cost. You need to allow for costs of additional consultant's appointments. Follow up District Nurse visits were NHS.

You could look online at Gynae surgeons in Scotland and see who comes up in the area of the hospital. See if eg you prefer a female surgeon or whatever then see if that name comes up.

Had mine Kings Park Stirling. Many years ago now, but no complaints. It’s the BMI group now
