Starters will be smoked salmon, prawns and rilette for those who don’t want fish.

Main event is a brined and roasted turkey crown. With:

Roasted potatoes with sage and lemon zest
Dauphinoise
Roasted shallots with Parmesan and truffle
Red cabbage
Pigs in blankets
Sautéed peas and leeks
Carrots and parsnips roasted in honey with lots of black pepper
Bread sauce
Cranberry sauce
Stuffing - baked in a tray with cranberries and a mulled wine glaze.

Pudding will be something chocolatey for the children, adults will have mince pies / Christmas cake with a cheeseboard to nibble on.

Christmas pudding
Custard

Alcohol free home so schler (spelling?) and fruit juices.

Breakfast is scrambled eggs, Buck’s Fizz and lots of chocolate around that.

Dinner is a mash up of all the roast dinner family favourites, no turkey as yuck. This year is roast lamb, roast pots, celeriac, purple sprouting, carrots, sprouts, cauliflower, parsnips, Yorkshire puds, mint sauce, horseradish sauce, gravy.

Christmas pud, M&S key lime pie, and mince pies.
