I remember when I was younger I went with my mum as dad was at work.
I just sat away and spoke to other kids if they were there also.

CaptainMyCaptain · 10/11/2021 17:04

People often do. Don't worry about it.

SleighBells21 · 10/11/2021 17:04

But yes I'd still go.

CaptainMyCaptain · 10/11/2021 17:05

Just don't let them wreck the classroom while you talk to the teacher. It happens!

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 10/11/2021 17:08

Its normal.

(Although if you have a toddler, be prepared for embarrassment! Mine happily told the teacher that her drawing was of Daddy's Big Fat Bottom!)

I'm a single parent so I have to.

I would check with the school as at ours it is strictly no children, and other then tiny babies in arms, I've never seen anyone take theirs.

You would have to contact the school to find out. The school where I worked allowed it.
