Just wondering whether has any helpful words! I'm 31 and expecting my second DC anytime now. I've been out of work since DD was born almost 2 years ago but before her I worked as a tax accountant. For years I've thought about doing a law conversion as the aspect of my job I always enjoyed the most was reading and interpreting the legislation and discussing that with others so I think law could be a good fit.
I sort of feel like now would be a good time to do it. Maybe not right now but once DC2 is a year old I was thinking he and DD could be in nursery and I could do an online GDL. DH is hoping to take a step back from work in the next few years so I'd hope to be able to give my career a really good go while he is in charge of the kids day to day needs.
I don't know if I'm being ridiculous though. Is it totally unrealistic to think I could start my law career in my mid 30s and not feel very out of my depth and/or ancient.
