Struggling to deal with someone on my team

Been put in a team with a colleague who I'm starting to not be able to stand. She takes over, bosses us around, 'delegates' tasks even though she's not the leader and we're supposed to all discuss who does what. She is the type of person who will talk a LOT about nothing/takes half an hour to make one point, presumably so she comes across as having a lot to say. It's really getting on my gripe to the point where I hate the project we are working on, which I otherwise would enjoy. I don't know how the others on my team feel. The project should be over next month, do I just try to ignore it?

I would try and ignore her. But that doesn't mean you need to agree with her or follow her instructions. Push back politely.

It sounds like the team working on The Apprentice!
I agree with @cansu .

When she starts to direct you, stop her and say ‘We’re supposed to discuss this. You don’t get to delegate. Now, Amy, what do you think?’ Major fake interested look. Push back every single time. Make it uncomfortable for her, just as she’s making you uncomfortable.
