Shingles

I’m about a week in of having shingles. Luckily I don’t think it has been too bad. When can I take a bubble bath again? I started meds quite quickly so I think I’m over the worst in terms of spots. I’d love a long soak.
Secondly, does anyone think there is a link between covid and shingles? I think I might have had covid in September but was unfortunately in the batch of tests relating to the cock up lab. I’m barely ever ill but since September, it feels like I have been up and down and now this.
Thirdly, how can I rebuild my immune system which is clearly shot? Thanks for reading.

I think there’s a lot linked to the virus - being run down makes you prone to other viruses, cisitis is common in woman who’ve had covid as is a foggy brain!

I doubt they are linked but more likely to get shingles - it’s a dormant virus like cold sores.

That said - no reason not to have a bath!
