Who does this ?
Once we've eaten and begun to wind down for the night , off comes the bra ! Bliss.

I don't even wait that long. It comes off as soon as I get in. And that's when the PJs come on Grin

Fozzleyplum · 08/11/2021 22:49

I'd never heard of this before I started lurking on here - I can't imagine wearing anything that is uncomfortable so that you are desperate to rip it off at the first opportunity. Surely that means you must be wearing a bra that doesn't fit?

RampantIvy · 08/11/2021 22:52

@AliceAldridge

What types/makes of bras do all you keeper-onners wear? I take mine off around bedtime but am more comfortable without.
M & S T-shirt bras. Some are underwired and some are not.

I wear day clothes until I go to bed. I don't even own any pyjamas.

MrsSkylerWhite · 08/11/2021 22:53

Tricky one here. Depends on my weight, frankly, which (in human!) varies.

I have one breast after cancer. When I’m skinny, I generally don’t bother with a bra, whatever the hour. Unfortunately, I’m still battling the lockdown weight (as an otherwise slim but large breasted woman which is even more sodding awkward when you only have one 🙄) so a bra is generally more comfortable.

frenchfancy81 · 08/11/2021 22:53

Bra off, socks off, earrings out is my thing....the time varies slightly but that's a happy threesome right there!

Freya Deco are a firm favourite for me - underwired moulded tshirt type. Get measured properly - you can do it yourself with Boob or Bust, I always rated our local Debenhams team, avoid M&S fitting service though. A loose band that rides up your back is going to give no support.
lovablequalities · 08/11/2021 23:08

Once you've eaten?!

Good grief!

I don't wear the fucking thing one more minute than I have to!

lovablequalities · 08/11/2021 23:10

Ditto contact lenses!

ExcessiveIyDisorganised · 08/11/2021 23:40

No, contact lenses stay in till bedtime too, it would never occur to me to take them out earlier TBH.

Socks off? What?! That is very unreasonable. Unless it’s to swap daytime socks for big, fluffy, nighttime socks 😁

immersivereader · 08/11/2021 23:45

Nah the girls need restraining.

Comfy pants on though (I. E. Joggers)

immersivereader · 08/11/2021 23:46

Anyone else else imagining all these women whipping their bra off the minute they walk through the door?! In the hallway, haven't even said hello to the kids, bra unpinged!

Clementineapples · 08/11/2021 23:50

That’s me! Along with shouting ‘freeeeedom!’

Nevermindthefurball · 08/11/2021 23:55

Is it the small of boobage or the large that prefer bra off? I’m the former and don’t really notice wearing one, it’s not the least bit uncomfortable.

petridishmystery · 08/11/2021 23:55

I’m a 40HH, in a properly fitted bra which I don’t find uncomfortable but I still take it off the second I’m in the door! I don’t even notice it when I’m out and about but as soon as I’m home I want it off. Take it off in the hallway and leave it on the stairs or put it in the wash basket! I only wear one at home if my sister and her family come round and that’s only because they make silly jokes about it Hmm

Hortonhearsadoctorwho · 08/11/2021 23:58

Large here. Everything digs in, shoulder and back ache. My boobs are ‘friendly’ according to the fitter which just means they’re close together so no bra actually fits properly. Definitely more comfortable without.

Can’t speak for the other poster's reasons but I love taking my socks off when I get home! Sorry for the imagery but I’ve got very hot little trotters so taking my socks off after I’ve been wearing them all day and swapping them for a clean, cool pair feels much better altho I usually end up taking those off too (am barefoot right now)
allfurcoatnoknickers · 09/11/2021 00:12

I'm a F cup so I can't even go up and downstairs comfortably without a bra Sad. It's basically on unless I'm asleep as I'm so I comfy without one.

I'm a bit jealous of everyone perky enough to run around without a bra on.

Ticksallboxes · 09/11/2021 00:13

I'm finding this thread quite bizarre.

I'm a SAHM and I'm up with my DCs at 7am each weekday morning. My DH went to bed an hour ago, but I'm still up watching the end of a film on Amazon (Old...don't bother btw).

I'm still wearing skinny jeans, a batwing top, bra and pants, and feel perfectly comfortable.

Are all of you people in bed-wear at 7pm then up jogging or something at 5am?? I don't get it!

Everyone’s different. Nothing “bizarre” about that, really.

OhGiveUp · 09/11/2021 00:18

I had an argument with a new manager about this a couple of years ago.
I've never worn a bra in my life, despite being an L cup. I wear a silky cammi top instead.
My then new manager ( female ) took me to one side and demanded that I wore one as it didn't look
' professional ' as she put it.
She went on to tell me that I could always remove it after work, like she does.
I asked her why she removed it if it was so comfortable.
Needless to say that I ignored her request.
Ladies, free the norkage and revel.

I’d live in pjs if I could. Definitely not up at 5am or in bed for 7pm just more comfortable lol

Dingdongdo87 · 09/11/2021 00:26

Bra off?! Hardly had bra on tbf since March 2020!

Dingdongdo87 · 09/11/2021 00:28

I'm a 34D just in case that makes a difference

Tiramiwho · 09/11/2021 00:28

Good God no! What type of Bra's are you all wearing day to day? If I ever wear a fancy bra, then yes - but I swap it for my trusty Steed of a sports bra.
I can't even lie on the couch in an empty room braless, it's just..untidy 😂
I do put my hair up in a scrunchy as I walk though the door though. Grin
