Covid booster jab a few days after Covid

Was pretty poorly with Covid recently - came out of isolation on Fri last week and have just been for my booster jab today.

The nurse said I could end up feeling ill again having had Covid so recently. (Did give me the choice as to whether I wanted to go ahead - I went for it!)

Now I'm wondering if I've been stupid. Has anyone been in the same boat and been fine?

I thought you were asked to wait for 28 days? That's what DD was told re her second one

Yes my dds friend couldn't have the jab in school last week as 28 days hadn't passed since she had covid.

My son had his 2nd jab within a week of recovering from having Covid. He was fine.

They recommended he wait 28 days but it was awkward with his job to get an appointment so he just went ahead.

Sorry - this isn't my second jab - I had the second back in April. This is the third 'booster' jab.

Tbf, I've been feeling crap for the last 2 weeks anyway, so if it makes me feel rubbish, I probably wouldn't notice over and above how I've been feeling anyway...
