So I have had a big toy declutter of DS4 toys, and would like to go back to basic law and avoid buying loads of tat for him and his new little sibling.

What would your go to, well loved, open ended toys?

Really considering investing in a wobble board and/or pilkler triangle - shall I???

Ds has various toys. Tbh the only things he plays with 99% of the time are:

Duplo
Wooden building blocks ( we bought a lovely set locally)
Wooden stack house thing
Books
Schleich animals ( sometimes)
Wooden dolls pram with various small teddies in

We have a pikler triangle for Christmas

I have a couple of obligatory puzzles, stacking things, squeaky eggs and music toys but he never plays with them.

Train set.
Toy garage
Garbage trucks
Fire trucks
Construction vehicles
Sticklebricks
Duplo
Jigsaws

He uses our pikler triangle daily, loves it.

I've bagged up all his toys into large freezer bags and keep most of them upstairs in s storage box. I rotate then every few weeks or so when he seems bored. That seems to work well and I only have a few "sets" out at any time.
