How long to get child first passport

Hello

Anyone applied for a child first passport recently? How long did it take for the passport to arrive? Also is there a fast track service? Can't seem to see this information on the website.

I've just heard back from them that my baby first passport has been approved. It's taken about three weeks and I did it online as that was quicker than posting it. I didn't see an option for fast tracking which I'm sure they used to offer as I did my eldest that way. Mind it hasn't arrived yet but they do update you as it progresses.

It's also helpful doing it online as you can take the photo yourself and it'll rate whether it will pass or not. (Helpful when the official ones I got didn't get approved!)

My daughters first passport took 4.5 weeks when we applied middle of September.
