Urgent Help - Covid Pass - travel

ARGHHHHHHEY · 08/11/2021 15:07

Massive thanks to anyone who can help.

Just found out my booster has not been added to my NHS Pass - even with generating a new pass it is not on there but it is on the medical records (I didn't realise there were two separate documents)

Due to fly tomorrow

Please can anyone advise what to do? NHS 119 said the team will reply in 21 days and then the line cut out.

Very few countries require proof of a booster. Is it Israel you are going to? I think they will accept the copy of the card, or a printout from your online GP notes.

ARGHHHHHHEY · 08/11/2021 15:13

I don't have a card - I actually wasn't given a card - and yes it's Israel.

Also my GP doesn't have online notes but I can see my medication list I think with the boosters showing so should i try and print that?

Boosters don't go on the passport. It's not a requirement of travel at the moment.

@RuthW It is a requirement of travel to Israel - which is where I am going.

But thanks - there must be other ways to do it then!

People I know that have gone to Israel have just printed out the entry on the medication list for the booster and taken that with the covid pass showing the first two.

I read somewhere that the booster is in the immunisations section of the NHS app, not the Covid section. Not due mine until Saturday so I ca't check. If it's there can you screen shot it to prove you've had it?

teenagetantrums · 08/11/2021 15:34

Mines on my medical records..you can just print that out or show them on the app

teenagetantrums · 08/11/2021 15:36

It's under medicines on the app

Returnoftheowl · 08/11/2021 15:37

I've just read an article online about this... Apparently Israel will accept a GP note as proof of the booster.

Thanks @pianolessons1 this is exactly the information I was looking for!

Yes @WhatHaveIFound the booster is showing on my NHS App in the medication list but not the NHS Covid App thing that generates the travel passes. I guess if it's a known issue and happening to everyone it will be fine.

Thanks All - I have my medication list on letter headed paper so I will print copies of that, I am carrying an additional letter from my GP so that should suffice.

Flying in covid times is STRESSFUL.

As far as I am aware the system has crashed and that no 3rd boosters are showing on the app. It won't be up and running until January/February time - I work in a hospital and we have been advised that people need to call 119 for help with Covid passports.

Good to know a GP letter will suffice in most cases!

ARGHHHHHHEY · 08/11/2021 16:37

119 just said it would be 21 days to change it via automated messages and then the line cut out...
