Omg, I didn’t see that coming. Date night, saw the film, Peri menopausal and a bit drunk (3 drinks in, like a lightweight) and I wept!

DH was a bit bemused at the time, more so when he asked after why I cried, I started again, in a pub, awkward… I’m a really, really ugly crier, snot, red eyes, the works. I didn’t get laid

Has anyone else been similarly effected?

Thought it was a dreadful ending. It should end now. Didn't cry though!!

Doubledoorsontogarden · 08/11/2021 14:45

I bet that Daniel Craig would be thrilled that I cried….

I didn't cry, found it very unbelievable really and unconvincing.

Shakirasma · 08/11/2021 15:06

I cried OP. I also thought it was a fantastic movie.

Justcallmebebes · 08/11/2021 15:07

Daniel Craig doesn't do it for me at all so no, haven't seen it and probably wouldn't cry. Very unhelpful, sorry.

I have been known to sob at adverts though

UpThePodge · 08/11/2021 15:26

It was the worst James Bond ever. I didn't cry but if I had it would have been through disappointment. It's the only one that I'll happily never watch again

eurochick · 18/11/2021 07:09

I cried and I never cry. But the plot was pretty bad. What was the bad guy's scheme? Hasn't the evil lair trope been overdone? Why didn't he age? Why wasn't bond's earpiece affected by the magnet blast that made the eye explode? Why can't the nanobots be defeated by a magnet?

Mydogisagentleman · 18/11/2021 07:25

Appalling film.
I cried at the end. Tears of joy that it was over

WickedWitchOfTheTrent · 18/11/2021 07:28

It wasn't a James Bond film, it was just an action thriller type. Loose references to 007, but the least 'Bond' 'Bond' movie I've ever seen. If they'd called it 'Red Landings' and renamed Bond to Jack Smith we'd not recognised it
