DH has invited colleagues over.

I had a brief chat today and asked if there’s anything they don’t like. No we eat everything… but I don’t really eat vegetables.

Eeek, we’re vegetarian 😂

What did your vegetarian Dh say when they said their don't like vegetables?

Can you order in?
They can order meat versions of whatever cuisine you decide and you can have veggie?

(A Turkish mezze would be my take away if choice to cover this situation)

It was me speaking to them. I was just like oh…

I am vegetarian and you can't go wrong with pasta.

I make a nice pasta arrabbiata with Quorn meatballs that is tasty.

Bit of cinnamon and a bit of chilli. It's lovely.

Unless of course they don't like tomatoes.

I struggle to think of any meals without vegetables

Order in, some veg, some salami.

Pizza, salad and garlic bread

My DS is a veggie who doesn't like vegetables. He will eat:
Macaroni cheese
Risotto
Quorn/lentil lasagne with loads of cheese sauce and garlic bread
Falafels and grilled halloumi with pitta, couscous, tzatziki, houmous
Mini cheese and potato pies that grandma makes him (Delia recipe).

Risotto might be a good shout.

Chickpea curry with flatbreads?

My meat eating husband will eat the following meat free meals - risotto, gnocchi with asparagus, thyme and Parmesan. Lentil dhal, arrabiata pasta, vegetarian pizza

Do you eat eggs? Egg and chips.

Cauliflower steak.

Cheese on toast.

I might just do toasties and wine😂

Seriously though. I don’t understand grown ups who don’t eat vegetables.

Risotto, bean chilli, veg lasagne, veggie burgers and chips.

Sausage chilli using meat free sausages.

I’d just do pesto pasta, garlic bread and salad. No big deal
