All DS wants is some baggy combats/trousers that aren’t skinny, jersey or tapered at the bottom!

Any ideas?! Thank

If he's in age 14 clothes he'd probably be OK in mens size small which opens up your options.

My DS is exactly the same, and he's tall and skinny so age 14 are normally too short. His last pair were men's from ASOS, but I did have to take the waist in quite a bit.

MsWalterMitty · 07/11/2021 18:45

This HM ones are perfect, thanks! We went in to HM today and didn’t see these 😀

Shein ! My favourite for everyone.

Also yes to small mens for 14 year old. My own 14/boy is just into mens medium

I noticed that shops seem to stop stocking some clothes instore from about age 13, so it's probably best to look online. H&M returns are really easy so I often buy loads of options then send half back.

I quite like lands end for my DS who is 11. Not sure it's very fashionable but it's decent quality for the price.

Thanks. He’s not in to fashion at all and is happy for me to choose and buy his clothes… except the cuff thing he hates cuffs on his ankles

Boohoo do a great range for boys.
All combats and t-shirts.

kowari · 08/11/2021 20:02

DS 15 wants the same but is still in cargo shorts. He needs a 14 for the waist, 13-14 h&m are actually still big on the waist, but he needs men's length in trousers. I can't find normal cargo trousers to fit him anywhere!

Starlightstarbright1 · 08/11/2021 20:04

My ds does like Jd but also likes tk max

Breathmiller · 08/11/2021 20:21

My skinny not interested in fashion teen has worn the combats from Matalan for years. I don't know what he will do if they ever stop them.

NotThatHomer · 08/11/2021 20:31

Mountain Warehouse might have combat style trousers?

Maverick66 · 08/11/2021 20:45

Hollister

I’ve ended up buying man’s 28 inch waist and hoping they fit when they arrive!

I’ve hand on heart never been in to a matalan! Not sure where the nearest one is, we live in the arse end of nowhere!

Yeah, the best I’ve found is online on decathlon and banana fingers which is a climbing specific site

MsWalterMitty It's only because we do live in the arse end of nowhere that we shop in Matalan as it's one of the few shops in our nearest town that sells clothes. Just been lucky that it has trousers that he likes.
Although I was going to link to them online for you and can't see them which worries me that they've stopped selling them. They were there kind of everyday wear though. Had them in various sizes and lengths so I'm hoping they are still there.
Good luck in your search, my son would also not wear ones that had cuffs or anything to make them fashionable.
