I have tried this for the first time today (after reading in here people use it for velvetiser hot chocolate) and I'm really impressed!

Haven't tried a hot choc with it yet

I've got milk and dark but have only tried the milk chocolate

Don't try the salted pretzel one, you'll get addicted to it and it's best left for us who discovered it first.

Aldi 85% Moser Roth. Best dark chocolate.

saraclara · 07/11/2021 17:51

Moser Roth is amazing!

Yogaandcocoa · 07/11/2021 17:52

I'll check with dark I have

It might be that

Most Roth is gorgeous. The large Christmas box was amazing last year, and I think it’s back out this year

I really, really want to like it (because I do my weekly shop at Aldi and it would be cheaper and more convenient for me to buy it with that) but I don’t. I’m addicted to Milkybar and the Aldi equivalent just isn’t the same Sad

Oh my god I forgot about this chocolate!! I used to buy it all the time but shop at Lidl now 😆 Think I need a quick visit to Aldi this week !
magicstar1 · 08/11/2021 09:14

@Bagelsandbrie I think that’s the Dairyfine range. It’s okay but not as nice as the Moser Roth...try the white chocolate in that one.

supremelybaffled · 08/11/2021 09:23

I'm going to ask MNHQ to take this thread down.

We do NOT want people to find out how good Aldi chocolate is. Because then they will go and buy it all, and there won't be enough left for me those of us who are addicted to it.

We buy bars & bars of the dairyfine milk & dark. Teens love it here. Over & above all other makes including Cadburys, tonys, hotel chocolat etc

I always have it in the cupboard & I bake with it too. It makes the most incredible brownies using the BBC good food best chocolate brownie recipe!

I also like the pretzel one myself

Yogaandcocoa · 08/11/2021 12:24

Just realised what I have is not aldi chocolate!

It's Lidl!!

We have both stores nearby and I think he went to Lidl

Thank you, I will give that a go!

@AdditionalCharacter I've never read anything I agree with more 😊

So so this. The miser in me wants to like it; the epicurean in me says, just no. It has to be Cadburys all the way.

Love those little (very little) orange crème boxes they sell at Christmas.

Its too small!
