I was rather pleased with myself for dyeing to black a coat of DS2's that got a splash of bleach on it. But now I put a load of towels through the washing machine & the light ones came out with black patches! I even found 3 more coats for him in the loft, so the bleached one could have just stayed as a scruffy one for the garden 🙄
Not disastrous as the towels are useable & we have loads, but annoying nonetheless.
Have now scrubbed the seals of the machine & run it on an empty hot wash. Will probably cost me more in Dylon & electricity than a new secondhand coat would have!
