Snowy trip away between Xmas and NY?

Looking for recommendations please for a short haul trip away between Christmas and NY maybe 4 nights. Was thinking maybe somewhere like Austria or similar (never been)... if anyone has suggestions for a trip that won't cost a fortune that would be great! We have primary aged DC and have already done Lapland. Thanks

Is it for this year? Austria has rising cases and talking about reintroducing more restrictions.

Switzerland is gorgeous at Christmas but it won't be cheap once you factor in the fact that it's school holidays, plus paying for tests and COVID passports etc.
