Help! I have headaches every damn day. I have migraines at least once a month.

I’m now trialling topiramate. Does anyone have experience and any side effects I’m
Getting desperate.

I got a daith piercing to help with my weekly migraines and it is amazing. Hardly ever get them now.

But if I drink Diet Coke I still get headache every day. Or anything with aspartame in. Not a migraine but bad enough to need paracetamol.

Have you been tested for food allergies? That's how I found out about aspartame

Watch out for carbonated drinks and topamax. It makes them absolutely rotten.

I came off the pill.
I had seen a neurologist, tried numerous things and felt at the absolute end of my tether.
A new gp said it purely and simply the pill, so I reluctantly stopped taking it and they vanished.

Could be the caffeine. Coffee is a migraine trigger for me.

Oxygen tank beside my bed which helps me with cluster headaches. 20 minutes at highest pressure takes the worse off.

Candasartan has helped me, with Carbmazapine. Cyclizine for sickness. I've tried many other things but these come out on top.

Eating little and often and drinking tons of water.

Oddly enough I got the implant in due to preventing pregnancy due to side effects from other meds I was on at the time and it made a positive difference for me.

Just throwing out things that have helped. In case it might be any help to you.
