Kids rooms decor in rental house

Moving to a new rental property and children will have own rooms after sharing for years. Dd8 & ds 6. If ypure in a rental property did you paint walls, just put pictures up? How did you make your kids room look good?we have magnolia walls throughout house....

Colourful fabric bunting on command strip hooks, lots of pictures hung with command strips, change the curtains, nice bedding, maybe a rug. You could also paint the wardrobe and chest of drawers to add colour.

There’s a lot you can do without risking your deposit.

I let my tenants paint the walls for their kids as long as they agreed to put it back to how it was before they moved out.

You’ll need to check with your landlord if you want to decorate, don’t just do it you might lose your deposit.
