What shall I do on my first night alone since 18 month old dc was born?

Off to stay in a hotel room tonight leaving dc and dh. Going to have some food and watch a film. What else should I do? Feel like this is rather lame.

This sounds like heaven (I have a 2 year old and 8 month old). I would get something nice to eat, good tv, a bath with a face mask and a house coat. Aahhhh I am jealous. Enjoy xx

I was just fantasising about this very thing last night for ages! Enjoy my plan was to shower and get into clean pjs and into a clean bed(everything usually has some baby sick/milk on it), telly on with a cup of tea and just fall asleep for as long as I like. The bar is not high

I don't think you need to do much. Food...drink... bath...TV. Just enjoy the time and the quiet and the not being needed! I'd probably be tempted to book another night too 😁
