I've just got one, total nocive, but tbh the instructions are a bit vague / bare. Any tips on insertion and removal? Anything I need to be aware of? Thanks

Just don’t drop it!
I’m too nervous to use mine incase I drop it when I’m emptying it out.

Relax relax relax!

I've used one for a few years and I love it. It gives me much more freedom as my periods are so heavy. I can get 3 hours between changes on the heaviest days compared to 40-60 minutes for a tampon. I find it easiest to insert mine immediately after a shower at first. I put my foot on the edge of the sink for easy ages and it makes it much more straight forward. I couldn't even imagine doing it in a pokey space while sitting on the loo . I do a C fold with mine and 95% of the time it's perfect first time. Maybe 1-2 times a period I might have to adjust or reinsert it .

If I was working away from home I would make sure I've got wipes and a bottle of water for easy clean up in shared toilets spaces. I also felt more confidant wearing a sanitary towel for the first few periods just into I was absolutely sure it was leak proof. I also tried 3 chips before i found my perfect one. I use a super Jennie due to mega heavy flow and I've never looked back.

Relax and practice. There’s a knack to it, once you’re done it once you’ll always be able to do it.

And don’t drop it down the toilet!
