Tiny scotch eggs?

Beamur · 06/11/2021 00:14

Hard boil and add them to a salad.

OneEpisode · 06/11/2021 00:16

We have actually made tiny scotch eggs but it takes ages.
They look cute fried (opening then is different to chicken eggs as the shell is thinner and the membrane thicker, we use scissors). We put them on top of something else, like corned beef hash (sorry, we’re common).

Potato salad
Salmon/potato salad
Scrambled eggs

I once cracked several into a single silicon muffin case and poached them and had them on toast.

Slice up a baguette and lightly toast , fry the eggs and fry or grill cherry tomatoes . Top the bread with a slice of serrano or parma ham, an egg and half a cherry tom. Serve. Lovely alternative breakfast, lunch or to serve with drinks.

I like them hard boiled, cold, dipped in celery salt, served alongside a vodka martini. lovely

Same as thebabessavedme!

Put them in an incubator and see if you can hatch quails.

Ozgirl75 · 06/11/2021 10:08

Take photos of you holding them pretending to be a giant?
Make tiny fried egg on tiny toast.

Hard boil, Peel and drop into a mix of soy sauce, ginger, garlic and a bit of honey. Leave for two days in the fridge then eat!

DandyHighwayWoman · 06/11/2021 17:23

Try hatching them....cute

SinoohXaenaHide · 06/11/2021 17:29

Soft boiled, peeled still warm. Each atop a sliver of sourdough toast with dollop of paté (I'm veggie so big fave is aubergine paté but other options would work).

Enjoy with a glass of prosecco/cava/champagne.

Or if you can get hold of truffle, just hardboiled and dipped in truffle mayonnaise.

You may need more quails eggs

catgirl1976 · 06/11/2021 18:33

I’m planning on doing these as a Christmas canapé

The looks amazing

Dave pledging celery salt, or with hollandaise.
