And whereabouts in the UK are you?

I'm from the North (Wigan) and say Bonfire Night.

I've never heard anyone call it Fireworks Night but have seen quite a few people use it on Instagram today.

Bonfire Night (originally from the south west and now in the south east).

But I imagine some of the fireworks being let off tonight are celebrating Diwali so I wonder whether people are describing it as 'fireworks night' as that covers both?

Hemingwayscats · 05/11/2021 23:15

Bonfire night, Yorkshire.

Bonfire night (grew up East Midlands now north west) if describing it.

But if I was going to a display I’d say I was going to the fireworks rather than to a bonfire night Grin

amusedbush · 05/11/2021 23:25

Bonfire night - central Scotland.

Bonfire Night.
