When to move - end of Dec or towards end of Jan?

Evening,

So I start a new role soon and looking to relocate to be closer for what the job entails.

But I'm not sure as to when.

My situation is I'm on a current rolling contract - so just give a months notice when ready.

My options are either end of Dec or towards end of Jan.

In December I have 9-14th (away on holiday) and the last two weeks of Dec off (in which I'm away 23rd-27th), - for these reasons, I'm not took keen to move in December as it'll be a busy month, and I was aiming to rest of the week when back on my holiday on the 27th.

However, I could move on Friday the 31st, this gives me about 3 days of solid focus on moving (although I likely would have started before) when I return from my final Dec holiday.

OR my other option is to move towards the end of Jan - I'm thinking the 21st - no holidays planned, could book a week or a few days off, but just means I'll be using new leave as my annual leave year runs from Jan to Jan. Although this is not a biggie.

Not sure which?
