I mean tattooed?

If so how bad was it? Did you use emla cream?

Is it more/less painful than normal tattoos?

No but I had my lips done last week and its was super painful so I am put off getting eyes done. Though I would love to.

ufucoffee · 05/11/2021 17:55

No but I'd like it done so following.

Crumblinginside · 05/11/2021 18:11

The lip blushing made my lips even and fuller looking. I had slightly uneven shape. Also not defined.

The eye lined would be amazing

Bumping, I'm interested. But scared of the pain.

Stickywhitelovepiss · 05/11/2021 19:04

Yes and don't. Will give more of an update tomorrow

choli · 05/11/2021 19:05

Bear in mind that fashions in eye liner change. You might well regret doing anything permanent.

mylovelydd · 05/11/2021 19:09

I've had my eyeliner done several times. It can feel sore and scratchy but it's bloody worth it. I think they used emla cream but let them sort that for you. Not had my lips done but it's meant to be agony

Actually my eyeliner needs doing again so this has reminded me to book in

cantgetmyheadroundit · 05/11/2021 19:10

Is it tattooed on your eyelid by your lashes? That's got to sting a bit, and I've got 9 tattoos as it is!

My pe teacher at school had hers done in royal blue - the look dated fast
she was 1980s through the 80s90s and 00s - looked ridiculous

TippledPink · 05/11/2021 19:24

I did, it was so painful, I was told I couldn't use cream and it didn't stick, faded after a few days so she did it again and the same thing happened again. I gave up!

HermioneWeasley · 05/11/2021 19:24

A friend has had it done and looks great. She reckons it didn’t hurt but she also fell asleep having her brows done and I thought that hurt!

DobbyTheHouseElk · 05/11/2021 19:29

Yes I have. It hurt like hell and that was with emla cream. My eyes were so so swollen. Looked like I’d been punched. Both eyes, could hardly see out of them.

Pixilicious · 05/11/2021 19:37

I’ve had it done, it was scratchy but not awful. The practitioner provided me with a really good numbing cream. Had it about 6 months now and I 100% recommend it. If you’re anywhere in the West Midlands I can give you a recommendation.

gumball37 · 05/11/2021 19:47

I have. I say more painful, but the numbing cream did nothing for me. So I just sucked it up. I don't regret it at all.

Chesneyhawkes1 · 05/11/2021 19:58

Yes I did. Sorry to say I'd never have it done again.

I've had my eyebrows down which was fine. Lots of "normal" tattoos on painful bits like ribs etc - but for me it was on a whole new pain level!

Doesn't sound very permanent, how often does it need doing?
ufucoffee · 05/11/2021 20:28

I'm presuming it'll be like micro blading on brows and need doing every few years or you just let them fade away

TreadLightly3 · 05/11/2021 22:34

Yes! And my eyebrows too! Love it!!!! Seriously, it’s life changing cause I had really pale eyebrows and eyelashes and now I look like I’ve made an effort every day

TreadLightly3 · 05/11/2021 22:34

I think you need a top up every couple of years but only if you feel you want to - some people prefer the faded look I guess

ABitOfAShitShow · 05/11/2021 22:42

Yep. I have really natural eyeliner in my lash line, top and bottom. I’ve had quite a few things done and it was the most uncomfortable thing out of all of them. Scratchy though, not outright pain. It was worth it for me. I still wear proper, bolder eyeliner but I look tons better when I have no makeup on. In summary, it was worth it but I’ll always dread getting it done!
