My DH had just received a message followed by a phone call from +44 1702680394. The message said that it was ‘Webuyanyhouse’ and that he had ‘started the process of selling our house’ to them. It was followed by a phone call saying the same. He said that he had not contacted them and had no intention of selling the house and rang off.
When I Googled the phone number it was ‘identified’ as a storage firm in Norfolk.
Not sure what this was all about but presume some type of scam and wanted people to be on their guard, and maybe warn our vulnerable friends/rels in case they get similar.
