After all, casting is surely much more complicated from a technological point of view?!
Apparently not one of the various bits of tech we own between my family can connect to a bigger screen with an HDMI cable. Probably. The internet seems unsure, and I don't want to buy an adaptor and find it doesn't work.
The idea was to download a film, then go and watch it with DGM, who doesn't have broadband. I can take my laptop but then that needs the Amazon desktop app, and is much heavier and just more awkward in general! And DM couldn't do that because she has a desktop.
Is there a cheap-ish tablet that definitely connects with a cable? Half-tempted to suggest we have a designated "DGM film tablet"!
