DLA claim advice

Hi can anyone advise please? I applied for DLA which was received on the 31st of August, I called them and was told that the application had been sent to the decision maker on the 31st of October but they still can't confirm when it is going to be dealt with. Has anyone got experience of this and know roughly how long it will be until I get an answer as to whether the application has been successful or not?

Still waiting! I am going to call them again tomorrow to see if they have made a decision yet. It has been with the decision maker for a fortnight and I cant imagine why it is taking so long.
