Send me your best Covent Garden dinner recs!

Just booked tickets to the Nutcracker at the Royal Opera House for my mum's Christmas present. We live in the sticks, so please send me your best recommendations for some great food places to have dinner while we're there!

Rules is a real experience. I went expecting to dislike it but really loved it… it would be perfect at Christmas. J Sheekey would be a close second. My third recommendation would be Petersham Nurseries although I sat in a courtyard in spring ( before you could sit inside) so I’m not sure what the dining room is like.

Palm Court Brassiere or le Garrick bistro. Both great French style menus!
