How to get a driving test help

Dd failed her driving test. Not disputing the outcome but dd hated the examiner who apparently has a bit of a reputation. Won’t bore you with the details of what happened.

Just need advice on how to best proceed with booking again.
Our local centre does not have anything at all to book. Don’t know what this means exactly but the only availability is in the next town where said horrible examiner is and dd will not risk getting him again. This would be in March.
I’ve heard about cancellation apps but not sure about how they work. Should we book test at the place she doesn’t want then try for a cancellation at our local? Is this how it works? Or book this and just keep trying the website to rearrange ourselves?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks x

My dd’s driving instructor told her that they release the tests at 6.30am on Monday morning.
We’d tried for weeks and had been unable to get one so I got up bright and early one Monday morning -logged in at dead on 6.30am and hey presto managed to book.
It’s not until February though but at least we have one booked

Thank you. It’s worth a try. It was 4 months to get this one.

Oops sorry scrolled too fast!

Yes you book them test anywheee in the UK and when a cancellation comes you change it. Some have an autobook function or text back to book.
