Anyone else joined theirs?

I've joined a few weeks ago.

I thought I'd get inside information on activities happening around where I live and it would be really helpful.

But instead it just seems like a lot of people complaining all the time.
They used to mainly complain about drivers driving too fast.
Last week or so, it's just been complaints about fireworks being set off all the time.

I'm hoping to move house locally soon. So at least I know the area to avoid moving too.

What is you nextdoor filled with and do you find it useful?

Mine was filled with such rubbish that I left, it was even wise then or community Facebook group. Just full of moans and lost cats.

Ours was full of racist whingeing, photos and posts of white vans claiming they are suspicious and dodgy tradesmen with fake user names claiming to be satisfied customers or recommending themselves.

Nextdoor is a total cesspit.

So it's not just me then.

I was going to post a reply to a fireworks post. The poster basically stated something along the lines of - to the person setting off fireworks on 3xxxf street, can you stop.
Then everyone else just chimes in and it turns into a moanfest.

I mean it's very unlikely that the person setting off the fireworks is gonna be on nextdoor. But thought better of it- these people know where I live

I get messages from Nextdoor and almost none of it is relevant. Random "news" posts, unrelated spam, and trying to sell stuff. Local FB page is much more helpful.

Ours is good people show actual footage of people walking up their drives and taking property or trying car doors etc. Then the caption says 'do you know this person?'.
