Black out blind recommendations?

I'm due to start a new job and I'm going to have to do nights. I have an eye mask anyway but that's just for the weight (I like the feeling of it and can't sleep without it) only issue if I see a tiny bit of light I'm awake. I'm really worried I'm not going to sleep. I've got the gro blind but if my mask slips off it leaks way too much light round the Edges and usually falls down anyway!

Does anyone have any really good pitch black black out blinds? I've got a healthy budget because I'm getting this for Christmas (yes it's so exciting Hmm)

I have these on my velux windows and they're pretty good

I have John Lewis blackout blinds (love in central London) BUT quite a bit of light comes in round the side gaps. A few years ago I added blackout curtains - again John Lewis linen look - lots of different colours. Chose curtain tracks which hold the curtains very flush to the wall at the top. Now pitch black when I want it to be.

Yeah, at least they do on velux I'm not sure if they're the same on normal windows. There are sort of track things down the side that the blind fits into so no gaps. I do have a slight gap at the bottom but I think that's my squint windows. They were really helpful on the phone too!

@fluffybunny98765 that's brilliant thank you! I think DH is a bit Hmm I want to spend so much on a blind but he doesn't need to be able to look after sick children after a day time sleep!
