Scalp psoriasis anyone?

Does it look like this?!

Had this for a couple of months now, gets a bit better then gets worse again. Been using an SLS free shampoo and nizoral for last few weeks. Its maybe slightly helped.

Just 1 big itchy, flakey, scaley patch on my scalp.
No problems elsewhere on my scalp although a similar problem behind both ears - skins flakes off in full big thick flakes

Scalp psoriasis anyone?

It could well be.
I get Betnovate scalp application from my GP and it’s lovely and soothing. The relief is amazing.

I second betnovate scalp application.

Just recently started to use TGel shampoo which seems to be helping too.

I use Selsun shampoo when I periodically get this. T gel is good too, though not as strong.

I had a flare up a few months ago to the point of it going across my hairline, around the ears and neck. I used nizoral every other hair wash day and otherwise used the superdrug trichology shampoo and conditioner. There's also a hair treatment in the set that I would use from time to time and it worked within a month or so :)

Selsun/Tgel shampoo might help but I’d really try and speak to your GP and try and get a diagnosis. I have psoriasis and it is like you describe - being itchy, incredibly flaky, and can get really sore.
