Patient Access app down not being covered on news

As far as I can tell this hasn't been covered on the news, a few posts on Twitter asking if the app is down but that's it.
Anyone who doesn't know what this app is, this is your medical records app that your Dr uses and you order your prescriptions with and check your results and appointments.
This has been down all day so I have not been able to order repeat medicine as Drs won't accept over the phone. This isn't a emergency medicine for me but how many people need to order repeat medicine that is urgent? Or check results or appointments etc.
Even if you go through NHS app to check your medical record or order prescriptions you can't do it either.
Wouldn't surprise me if the Tories are up to something with the data, especially on a day they have just voted to save their corrupt friend!

Ok bit creeped out. Within 10 minutes of me posting it's back online after being off all day!

And today it's not working for me, one minute it won't sign in, then it signs in, but won't connect to my GP.

Yep it has gone off again for me and still can't order meds. Can't believe more people are not concerned about this.

Tried logging in for my mum and says she isn't connected to her GP for online when she is and it wants her to re register which is a ball ache and she needs her repeat medicine.

I just phoned the pharmacy that dispenses it and they ordered it for me. Its an app, they go down sometimes. There is no such thing as an app or website that doesn't have downtime. Just one of those things like the power going out. Sometimes it happens, it'll be back on soon. Inconvenient but not a massive deal.

It is a big deal for people who rely on medication, our chemist never answers the phone so wouldn't be able to phone them up.
With the app being down it also puts ,ore pressure on people trying to get through to the GP to try and sort medicine out.

Well you should direct your wrath to Patient Access then not the Tories !

It wasn't working for me yesterday but I've just managed to order my repeat prescription.

It's annoying but I expect GP receptionists are on the sharp end of this.
