Just for fun as my daughter is currently applying for uni. When she was little she was really interested in dinosaurs and fossils, then moved onto Ancient Egypt. By school she Romans and Greeks joined in. Not a huge surprise that she is applying for Archeology and Anthropology.

My son is only 16 but his interests were tractors and trains and bridges! He is thinking about engineering,

So for my 2 they are both still interested in their pre-school passions and I wondered if others are the same or the opposite and they are now interested in completely different things?

My two DC both read Geography which came out of their favourite subject at school. However my DD then did an MA with a thesis on the history of cinema and then worked in that industry which has always been her main interest.

She is now doing an animal care course!

Dd liked classics and writing. She works in IT. So not really, but it was a priority for her that she earned a decent wage and didn't have to sit at a desk all day so this is where she ended up.
I think the dynamic in her team suits her personality also.
