There is misogyny everywhere we look, what can we do?

Just reading the news today:

4 students gang rape a woman at Oxford Brooks, none is prosecuted
2 policemen photograph 2 dead women and send the photos on WhatsApp
A 4 year old is snatched in Australia

And that’s before we get to Sarah Everard and Sabina Nessa.

The above is just a tiny snippet from today and I feel utterly despairing for my daughter and her friends who are young women trying to navigate this world.

I feel helpless in the face of the sustained misogyny and VAWG - does anyone else and if so, what are you doing and can I join you?

And anyone who says NAMALT can FTFO.

I get you OP.

Keeping the #metoo discussion alive.
Activity challenge misogyny when we see it, hear it, experience it ourselves.
Raise our daughters to be strong and not be afraid to take up space.
Vote for politicians that take a strong stance against misogyny.
Actively keep working on erasing our own internalized misogyny which is in my experience a constant and ungoing prices.
Believe and support other women and their experiences.
Spend your money where your mouth is. I’m looking at you Bodyshop, I won’t forget how you treated J.K. Rowling.

Just some examples.
